What material is the Life of Riley Wool-filled Swag Bed made of?

The Life of Riley Wool-filled Bed is made from a hardwearing yet soft cross-weave cotton corduroy fabric. These plush beds are filled with 2 layers of luxurious wool batting (approximately 18cm thickness) which is naturally odour resistant and offers luxurious comfort to your dog and helps to soothe those aches and pains for older dogs. 

As you may already know, New Zealand Wool is naturally warm in the winter and cool in the summer - The thermoregulatory properties of wool make sleep a deeper and more pleasant experience allowing your dog a longer more comfortable rest.

The bed also has a removable machine washable cover with velcro closure for easy washing. 

Are the Life of Riley Wool-filled Swag Beds water-resistant?

No! If you have a puppy or incontinent dog we recommend you also purchase a mattress protector (www.lifeofriley.com). As these beds are made from natural materials, just like a futon they need to be flipped and aired regularly.
